These terms explain how booking with Le Way Go works.

1. Who we are

lewaygo.com is run by Le Way Go LLC (“Le Way Go”, “we”, “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company. Mailing address: 6500 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634, USA. Le Way Go is an independent tour operator. We are not the ferry operator or the attraction, and we are not affiliated with them unless we say so in writing. Statue City Cruises is the official provider of ferry service to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and Alcatraz City Cruises is the official provider of ferry service to Alcatraz Island. We buy your ticket from them for you.

By booking with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.

2. What you buy

Each tour is a package that includes:

• an official ticket from the operator of the attraction (for example Statue City Cruises or Alcatraz City Cruises), which we buy on your behalf after you book,
• any partner product listed for the tour (for example a Big Bus pass), and
• access to the Le Way Go City Guide, our app with audio tours and local tips.

Each tour page says exactly what is included and what is not. The operator’s own rules and terms apply to your visit.

3. Booking and confirmation

You book a tour for a date, departure time and number of guests in each age category. Online booking closes 90 minutes before departure. Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.

Please make sure your contact details are correct and that each guest is booked in the right age category. Operators may check ages and refuse entry to guests in the wrong category.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are per person in US dollars and include all fees we charge. You pay the total shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

Prices may change, but the price confirmed for your booking will not change.

5. Tickets and delivery

If your departure is more than 24 hours away, we email your official ticket 24 hours before departure. If it is 24 hours or less away, we email it as soon as we have bought it.

Bring your ticket on your phone or printed. If you have not received it on time, check your spam folder and contact us.

6. If your departure is no longer available

Because we buy your ticket after you book, a departure can sell out in the meantime. If that happens, we contact you right away and you choose another departure time, a similar ticket with a refund of the price difference, or a full refund.

7. Cancellations and changes by you

You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. Less than 24 hours before departure, your tickets are bought and sent, so your booking cannot be changed or refunded. Details are in our Cancellation Policy.

8. Changes and cancellations by the operator

Operators can change schedules, close areas or cancel departures, for example because of weather or security. We are not responsible for these decisions, but if your departure is cancelled by the operator, you can choose a new date or a full refund.

9. On the day of your tour

• Arrive early: at least 30 minutes before your ticket time in New York, and 45 minutes before departure for Alcatraz. Every visitor goes through security screening before boarding.
• Follow the operator’s rules and staff instructions. Operators may refuse boarding to anyone who does not.
• If you miss your departure, the ticket cannot be refunded.
• Some tours have age limits. For example, the Ellis Island Hard Hat Tour is for ages 13 and up.

10. Partner products

Partner products, such as Big Bus passes, are provided by their own companies under their own terms. We buy them for you as part of your package.

11. The Le Way Go City Guide

Your booking includes personal access to the Le Way Go City Guide through a private link. Access opens 10 days before your tour and stays valid for one year after your tour date. One link works on every phone in your group. Please do not share it outside your group.

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Le Way Go City Guide (website and iPhone and Android apps) for your own trip, not for commercial use. You may not copy, resell, share or modify its content, or try to access it in ways we did not intend. App store terms (Apple, Google) also apply to the apps.

We work hard to keep the app accurate, but places, opening hours and prices can change. Always follow local rules and safety signs.

12. Promo codes

Promo codes can only be used for new bookings, one code per booking. They have no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so.

13. Our responsibility

We are responsible for booking the services described on your tour page. We are not responsible for the services provided by operators and partners, or for events outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

14. Resolving disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first: most issues are solved quickly. If we cannot solve it within 30 days of your written message, these rules apply:

• Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. Arbitration can take place by video or phone.
• You and we both agree to bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.
• Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, if it qualifies.
• Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published when you book applies to your booking.
